Refunds

All dresses bought on line must be paid in full before order is placed.

All our dresses undergo a full inspection before being shipped to you.

Under United Kingdom Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for purchase of goods within seven days following the date of delivery.  You must contact us within this timescale otherwise no refund will be forthcoming after this period.

Should you find any imperfections you must notify us within seven days of the merchandise being received at gownsforgals@hotmail.co.uk. No refund will be forthcoming after this period. We will issue a refund against the bridal wear acknowledged by us to be faulty minus the shipping costs, providing such faults have not be caused by your misuse, negligent handling or improper care of the goods. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within thirty days of notice.

If you are returning a dress order for a refund, the return cost will be deducted from your refund. If you are returning a dress order for an exchange, both the return and delivery costs will be wavered. Should you then decide to return an exchanged dress for a refund, you will be charged both the delivery and return costs.

If you are required to return any item to Gowns for Gals, the package must be postmarked within seven days from your first contact with us about the return. Gowns for Gals will not refund any returns that are postmarked past the seven days and will return your products to you.

Should you decide to return a dress for an exchange, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match although in most cases, the colour difference is negligible.

Any order paid by credit card will incur a 2% charge on the total cost if returning the items for a refund. If returning for an exchange, the charge will be wavered. This charge does not apply to debit cards.

If authorised to return any merchandise, please remember to wrap the package securely as it may not be possible to offer a refund or replacement on goods which are damaged during return transit, and send it to:

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot offer refund or replacement for any goods that are lost in return shipment to Gowns for Gals.

Is the quality of the dress is in top condition since the price is so low?

Yes, all dresses we are selling are in its top condition.  We only sell 100% brand new wedding gowns and accessories.   All our styles are modern and we can assure you that you will be able to pick your favorite styles from our online catalogue.  We always keep on an update with all the latest styles in the wedding industry.  You'll be surprised at the styles you can find on our website is selling at a much lower price than in other bridal stores.

Where do the dresses come from?

We deal with the most professional bridal gown manufacturers of the world.  A worn dress or sample gown will never be sold to our customers.  We only sell special ordered, new, first-quality gowns.

Which size should I order?

We strongly recommend you to get a professional tailor to measure it for you.  If you fall between sizes, always choose the larger size because it is always easier to reduce the size of the dress than to make it bigger.  Our dresses allow approximately 4 inches for alteration. 

Do you ship internationally?

No We do not ship internationally at the moment.

Do you have catalogues?

We are sorry that we do not offer catalogues.  Our prices are so competitive that it would increase our price if we print out catalogues.  Our online store is our catalogue.

Where are you located?

We are located in England.  We are an online store only.  The reason for our low price is because we do not carry the expensive costs of running a retail shop. 

How is the dress shipped?

The dress will be ordered from our factory it will then be shipped to our team who will triple check it. Once we are satisfied we will courier it over to you.

Do bridesmaids really have to spend a lot on a dress they may only wear once?

Good news for bridesmaids...the newest trend is wear-again dresses that transcend the wedding day and can be worn for any special occasion.

How to measure yourself

Before you order online, please make sure you measure yourself carefully using a cloth (not metal) tape measure.

Wearing just your underwear:

• Measure the fullest part of your bust. (This is not the same as your bra size)
• Meaure the smallest part of your waist. (This is not necessarily where the waistband of  your clothing sits)
• Measure the fullest part of your hips. (Around the fullest part of your bottom)
• Measure from shoulder to hem including shoes. (Hems should finish approx. 1" off the floor for a good fit.)
All dresses are a standard long length of 59" from shoulder to hem, so many customers need to have the hem length shortened to achieve the correct length. (strapless dresses are also measured from shoulder to hem, not from top of dress to hem)

When deciding which dress size to order, you may find that your measurements do not match exactly to the sizes shown on the size charts. Slight differences are common as most people are not an exact standard size, and some alteration may be required to achieve the best fit for dresses.
